Leon became the first Saint in our family in February 2006.  We adopted him through the MI/OH region of the Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation.  Leon melted our hearts as soon as we met him!  He was a sweet, adorable and goofy Saint puppy.  It was hard to believe that someone could abandon him in a basement.  Luckily, the SBRF came to his aid and we were lucky enough to become his new forever family.  Since we adopted Leon we have added 2 males and 4 females to our show kennel so he has plenty of siblings to keep him busy.

Leon has had his share of medical problems including, entropia and an overly sensitive and spastic digestive system.  He has been a good sport through every vet visit, procedure and round of medication.  He is the resident big brother around here and takes his job very seriously.  He teaches the puppies how to play, how to nap and how to be gentle like the Saintly Bernards they are.
